Our chips are registered with Animal Tracker database, with our appointments either home based or at our offices we take our time to ensure pups are calm and comfortable before we chip. Chips can be transferred for free from breeder to owner with the breeder premium account offered by Animal Tracker and the customer service offered by the database staff is second to none. It’s a seamless service from chip to registration and beyond.
Key facts
· All dogs in the UK must be microchipped by law
· Puppies must be microchipped by 8 weeks or before leaving the litter.
· Breeders will be responsible for microchipping and must be recorded as the first keeper.
· The recorded keepers (where the dog resides) MUST keep contact details up to date on a government compliant database

We use Peddymark microchips which are registered to the Animal Tracker database. Their customer service record is excellent and they’re a very easy system to use.
Legally the chips have to be registered to the breeder in the first instance. Once you’ve set up your account, the chips can be transferred into the new owners name by them or by yourself.
The chips are transferable online or over the phone.
The needle is REALLY sharp, usually the pup doesn’t feel a thing or at worst, wont like the pinch of the skin we have to do as we withdraw the chip needle. Either way, the pups are very quickly back to wagging their tails and none the wiser within seconds.
